Thank God it's Friday!
Friday has always been my favorite day of the week!
Tomorrow is my mom Marla's 60th birthday!
Last week we surprised her with a Beatle's themed party at
one of her favorite Mexican restaurant. I melted 2 vinyl records and then I
glued Beatle album images on the inside of the record bowls. I also made party favors
by creating red triangle boxes by following a how to video on Splitcoaststampers.com. I used SU French Filigree background stamp on the outside of the triangle boxes.
I made Beatle image magnets and put those inside the boxes with wrapped chocolates. I also
decorated a red 6 x 6 photo album with black lace and square rhinestones, square Beatle photos, and a SU birthday stamp that says "Birthday Bliss". I glittered up the numbers 6 and 0 from precut chipboard and attached them with mini glue dots to a bridal headband and adhered some white lace around the band.
My sister Valerie is a photojournalist. She photographed these birthday party goodies I created and after I figure out how, I plan to post the pictures she took for you to see!
